Aubry is a well known and great political leader of France. She is so popular among people due to her achievements and services, she did to her people. She was elected as a Mayor of Lille by winning an election of 2001. She is indeed a brave and courageous lady. She is an active politician in France.

Aubry; Mayor of Lille:

She is a patriot and wants to work for the people of France. She is in the favour of stable government. She wants to raise the economy of the France. Martin Aubry was devoted to municipal elections. She worked for the campaign of the elections and also left her position as a minister.  The government was so much surprised at her decision. She was very active in her campaign and she got her goal. She won the election and appointed as the Mayor of Lille.

Worked as Minister of Employment:

In 1997, she was elected as a member of the National Assembly. She also became the Minister of Employment and Solidarity. This post of minister is the most important post after the post of Prime Minister. In the same year, she did a remarkable work for the youth. She took some financial help from the government and made an employment contract. Under this contract, she gave 750,000 new jobs to the young people. This raised the economy of France.

Law for the working people:

She also worked for the working people and established a law. She fixed working hours of the people. Instead of doing work for so many hours, it is made the rule to work 35 to 36 hours in a week. In 1999, she made another program. It is called CMU. The people who have low income, the CMU will work for them and provide them a complete and free medical facility. This law avoids the necessity of private insurance.
